Friday's Circle of Friends - February 24

circle of friendsYes another week is drawing to a close, and soon February will be over as well. Like last year, the days seem to be flying by.

We had a very busy week this week de-cluttering our home. We cleaned out our basement and took some of the stuff to an electronics recycling depot and other things we simply threw out.

We have identified several items that we can put up for sale, possibly on kijiji or Amazon.

We also managed to paint the basement because we plan to make that our new office space instead of using the dining room as our office. Neither my husband nor I have painted in several years so our legs were quite stiff the day after painting. My husband also spent a lot of time on the floor painting the baseboards nice and white.

Today we are back at our desks. My husband works online doing IT work and I have been catching up on other personal finance blogs to see what I missed earlier this week.

There were so many great posts published over the past 7 days. Here is just a sample of what several other bloggers had to say this past week:

Thanks for including me in your round-up this week. I've had a lot of good success with selling things on amazon. Books mostly, but it's amazing how quickly some of the books sell. Of course that means I priced it too low, but hey, it's out of my hair.

@cultofmoney You are welcome! Happy to do include you.

I did sell a few books on amazon last year but I found that I paid a lot more for shipping than amazon allotted so I ended up losing money.
