trick or treat halloween giveaway

October is a very exciting month in Canada. With Thanksgiving coming up this weekend and Halloween only a few weeks later, you will see beautiful Fall colors such as orange, red, yellow and brown, everywhere you look. Stores are decorated; homes are decorated both inside and outside. People are snuggled in their favorite sweaters that they tucked away only a few months ago.

When you walk into the coffee shop you will hear people ordering their favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Venture into someone’s kitchen in October and you will most likely feel calm and relaxed as the delicious aroma of apples, cinnamon, pumpkin and nutmeg welcome you.

Check out Pinterest and you will find all kinds of very inexpensive decorating ideas for both Thanksgiving and Halloween.

I've got to decorate this year for Isaiah. I think I'm more excited than anyone else here :).

Thanks for sharing these ideas with us. I have to try the witch cupcakes too. I don't know if I can get that creative but it's worth a try.

      Happy Tuesday Sicorra!

Aaaand ... now I'm on Pinterest! I know who to blame if I get stuck pinning Halloween ideas at 2am ;)

My favorite Halloween is my son's 2nd Halloween, where he "got" it. So cute to see him run up the walkways once he realized there would be a treat at the end of them!

Hey Rebecca, good to see you! Pinterest can be quite addictive and fattening LOL

That must have been so much fun trick or treating with your little one. It is so cool to see their faces light up about something new and exciting for them.

I love Halloween, it means it's getting closer to my most favorite holiday -Christmas!
Those homemade lanterns are too cute! I wish I was a better baker so I could attempt to make some of the other goodies you listed. Maybe I'll attempt them anyway ...

      Have a great week Sicorra!

Yes, Christmas is really just around the corner, isn't it. Feels like this year has gone by too fast.
And I'm with you when it comes to baking. I wish I could make fancy things. It takes time and creativity. Two things I am short on.
Have a great week Corinne! Talk soon...

I love Halloween and miss dressing up! My Mom used to (well, she still does) deck out the house for Halloween. I used to love to help her set out all the decorations. Oddly enough, when I was kid I did not have a big sweet tooth. So I'd hoard the candy for day or two, then hand it over to my parents. :D Those cupcakes look fantastic but I not a very good decorator. I don't have the patience for delicate work but my Mom could probably do it!

Your mother's house sounds fun on Halloween. We had one neighbour like that too. He loved entertaining the kids. I don't have the patience to decorate cupcakes like that either, but I sure wish I did.

I love Halloween although the children do not come by. My children are adults and they do not have children yet. We live in a gated community and no one comes by.
